injecting a child with Botox; Beauty strategy or child abuse?

Paradise comes with a price and, Some people would pay anything to stay, or should I say look young forever. Growing old is no longer considered a natural part of life, but nothing that is natural is decireable these days, so why should it be? Anything can be fixed with an injection or perhaps a little bit of silicon. and, who cares about the sideaffects, as long as people will look at you here and now...

We live in a world where chasing impossible shallow ideals has become a way of life for many. Everybody wants to become a superstar, and to become a superstar, you've gotta look like one, right? However, if The opening quote above came from a 30-year-old, I'd still think it kind of sad, but little Britney Campbell from San Fransisco California, is only 8 years old and, is injected with botox and fillers by her mom on a regular bases.

The fame-hungry mother, who is proud of the treatment, otherwise known as child abuse, freely admits that she buys the substances online and injects them into her daughter's forehead, lips and around her eyes. she's giving the girl between 1-2ml of a saline and Botox solution every 3 months and, claims to know the correct amounts to give since she is a beautician. She also gives the 8-year-old a monthly virgin wax , which gets rid of her fluffy leg hair and makes sure she wont develop pubic hair in the future. She claims it's all to prepare her for showbiz and, that all the mothers are doing the same thing to the little girls in the beauty industry. .

This is wrong on so many levels, I don't even know where to start! According to the article in The Sun, this is perfectly legal and, if that is indeed true, I'll start bombarding authorities and politicians with emails and letters until they get scared of drowning in them and, make sure that parents can't abuse their children to fulfill their own twisted superstar dreams!
