Facts about Tobacco

Tobacco can be consumed, used as an organic pesticide and, in the form of nicotine tartrate, used in some medicines.

It is of course most commonly used as a recreational drug and, The usage of tobacco is an activity that is practiced by some 1.1 billion people, about 1/3 of the adult population of the world.

Tobacco had already long been used in the Americas when European settlers arrived and introduced the practice to Europe, Where it quickly became popular.

Tobacco can be smoked, chewed, snuffed and so on. it is known to shorten one's life with 10 years and, is the cause of some 40 percent of all hospital illnesses.

The active substance, Nicotine, is extremely addictive, but strangely Bhutan is the only country in the world where tobacco sales are illegal.
